Why this product
Live-event labor has its own operating rhythm.
A stagehand operation is not ordinary office scheduling. Calls change. Positions matter. Qualifications matter. Responses arrive at different times. Replacements happen. The roster used by dispatch has to become the roster used at check-in, and the hours from the event have to reach payroll cleanly.
General-purpose scheduling tools often leave those handoffs to spreadsheets, text chains, and institutional memory. PibStage is being designed around the entire line of work.
